Public Houses are where people used to gather to grab a pint and talk about events of the day. It was how people communicate, collaborate and shared ideas because they were public and open to everyone. Over time, they shorten the name to Pubs.
Join us for our Monthly Packard Place Public House – for pints, networking, and sharing what’s going on with you. Networking starts at 5:30pm and the keg-side chat kicks off at 6 pm.
This month, Meggie Williams will be joining us for the keg-side chat. Meggie, the founder and CEO of Skipper, is on a mission to help you, and your dog, live your best life through one, single trusted brand and end-to-end platform. Meggie recently announced Skiptown, the first-of-its kind, tech-infused, private, off-leash indoor/outdoor dog park, bar, and dog care facility opening in South End this summer.
Meggie is a graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill and the recipient of Charlotte Agenda’s 30 Under 30 Award and CBJ’s 40 Under 40 Award. Avid travelers, Meggie and her husband, Sebastian, backpacked around the world for 9 months after they got married – they currently live in Wilmore with their two pups, Stinson and Khumbu, and eight chickens.
