Spring Cloud Data Flow: Orchestrating Event Processing and Complex Batch Apps

Spring Cloud Data Flow is a project for Microservice based Streaming and Batch data processing for Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes.

The talk will cover:
Overview of the SCDF project and the problems it tries to solve.
Event processing using Spring Cloud Stream. Overview and demo.
Spring Batch orchestration using Spring Cloud Task. Overview and demo.
Monitoring Events using Prometheus and Grafana.

+ About the speaker
Abhinav Rau is a Senior Platform Architect at Pivotal where he helps organizations adopt Cloud Native development practices. Prior to Pivotal he worked in Financial Services and several startups. He is passionate about open source, Spring and basketball.
